Mohammed Enayetur Rahman, CEO and President of ULKASEMI, has been honored again with the Commercially Important Person (CIP – NRB) 2026 Award for his Outstanding Contribution in Remitting Foreign Currency during the Fiscal Year 2024–2025. The recognition was conferred by the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment.
The award was presented on December 17, 2025, at the Osmani Smriti Milonayoton in Dhaka, on the occasion of International Migrants Day and National Expatriates Day , by Dr. Asif Nazrul , Adviser to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs; the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment; and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The CIP (NRB) Award recognizes the significant role of non-resident Bangladeshis in strengthening the national economy through lawful remittance. Under Mohammed Enayetur Rahman’s leadership, Ulkasemi continues to advance Bangladesh’s semiconductor capabilities, with a long-term vision of building a multi-billion-dollar industry and creating employment for 5,000 engineers by 2030.
